We like this highchair a lot. Have used it for about 6 months now with no issues. It fits our table height just right so our daughter can feel like she’s eating with us at the table. Very easy to wipe down due to its smooth surface and no real hidden hard to get to areas. Its light enough that we can easily carry it outside to the patio if we are grilling etc. We’ve even easily take it to friends houses so she has a chair. Very solid construction and assembled with ease. It also looks as nice as a highchair can with our decor.
Coupe quirks. Every time we put our daughter in the chair, the straps behind her fall down and get jammed up behind her. Not a big deal bit a little annoying. Once your baby starts moving those legs it can be a challenge to get those wiggly feet and legs through the front infant attachment. On very wiggly days its take two, one to guide her feet and the other to lift her in. Help if she has socks on so her feet slide through easier.
All in all very happy with the purchase.

I like the fact that the Stokke Tripp Trapp takes up less room than a regular plastic high chair. I also like the fact that our child sits with us at the table. It’s true that your child will not be able to take a nap in it since it doesn’t recline like the big plastic high chairs – but who thinks taking a nap in a high chair is a good idea anyway?

Love this highchair. We bought it after much deliberation, mostly because it is a bit pricey. Our 18 month old daughter climbed straight up and sat in it. She LOVES that she can get in herself, and the harness is good enough that she can only get out if I undo her. We bought it without the cushion, and she seems perfectly comfortable without it.
I love having her right up at the table with us, and that it fits in with our dining decor. It is so easy to clean and although there have been some negative reviews about the possibility of it tipping over backwards, we attached the enclosed leg extenders (as per the instructions) and it seems perfectly safe. She hasn’t so much as lifted the front legs off the floor, even if she pushes on the table it just slides backwards (on polished floors, cannot comment on carpet)
I would highly recommend this chair, it is so well made and grows with your child, so it is far more than a highchair. Best of all, it is made in Slovakia, not China!

When my son was a few months old, I realized just how stressful it must have been for him to be low to the ground, facing away from me while being pushed in his stroller down a busy street. I began wishing that a stroller existed that could adjust up and down and facing/away from a parent. I was so excited to find the Xplory, that it did exist. My hunch that babies could be stressed from the typical sitting arrangement of a stroller has even been verified by academic research. I love this stroller. The biggest drawback is the price: but I considered it a nod to the ingenuity of the designers and how unique it is. This stroller stands apart from all other strollers on the market. I am very impressed by its handling, quality of materials and adaptability.
I consider the carry cot as an unjustifiable expense because it is only functional for a short period of time in a baby’s life and that period is when I’m most likely to be wearing the baby on my body for additional comfort and interaction. But once a stroller is the preferred method of travel for parent and child, the Xplory cannot be surpassed.
To others who covet this stroller as much as I did, I encourage you to keep searching for a good price. I finally got mine for 0 new (although it was a previous year’s model).

I purchased Stokke Xplory less than a year ago. I dealt with inconvenience of disassembling and assembling every single time we went on a trip (because it does not fold down), basically because it ‘looked good’. However, when one of the chassis part actually torn apart, it became a serious issue of safety. Having registered the product, I contacted customer service. They were very condescending, keep reiterating same answers, basically leading into circular conversation. The Gran finale was that one of their customer rep. hung up on me in the middle of conversation. This product is unsafe, inconvenient and has the worst customer service when it comes to repairing it.
